Lettuce Chickpea Salad

Serves: 6
1 head romaine or butter crunch lettuce Dressing:
1 can shrimp, drained (optional) 1/2 cup olive oil
1 cup chickpeas, prepared & cooled 1/3 cup ketchup
5 slices bacon, crumbled (optional) 2 TB onion powder
1/4 cup toasted almonds 1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup red pepper, diced 1/4 cup vinegar
1 egg, hard boiled (optional) 2 TB Worcestershire sauce
1 pkg oriental noodles crumbled (not cooked)

● Combine dressing ingredients and shake well.
● Pour dressing over remaining tossed ingredients just before serving.
This dressing is strong enough to allow for other strong flavours. Feel free to mix up the types of lettuce and to add other ingredients such as: grape tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, sugar snap peas, or diced carrots.
