Lentils are a very high source of iron and of dietary fibre. They are legumes and can be used as a meat alternative.

Lentils do not require pre-soaking, so they are easy to add to your favourite recipes, just increase the liquid in your recipe. They add fibre and protein to casseroles, soups and stews.  They are so versatile that we cook with lentils the most and we have the most recipes for lentils at this time.

Currently available are our 1kg (2.2lbs) bags of small green lentils.  These can be picked up directly from Grandma Lou.  Email grmloumcd@gmail.com for further information.
